Family pics

We have had these since October, but I'm finally getting them posted. I love the way they turned out and love the pics of my kiddos! It's also been since our wedding that Carl and I had a pic of just the 2 of us...Since that's where it all began I thought I would begin the pics with us:)

Kamryn hated every second of this but I love how it turned out!

Our cute little family

What's not to love about these faces???

Handsome little Gav Man. 3 years old and full of life, he keeps me running constantly but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Gav and Daddy

Gav and Mommy

I just can't get over how grown up he looks! And I didn't put any pics of Kamryn on this post because I did some of her below...I can only figure out so much when it comes to the blog world:)

Miss Kamryn is 8 months old! I can't believe that she is getting so big and crawling everywhere. She is such a blessing in our lives and we couldn't imagine life without her!
Love you little lady!

The things we do for our kids...

Then Gavin decided to have a choo choo train. He put all his stuffed animals in one basket and was prepared to sleep in another. Then he asked if Carl wanted a ride...What a good daddy to get crunched up in a laundry basket aka train for his little boy. We have had so much fun with
Gav lately and look forward to what his imagination brings us next. Wish us luck!

We have had some pretty fun times the past few weeks. It was so great to get together with my family and spend time with them. We also had a great 4th of July.

Random pic of Gav and Mater. He thought he was the coolest thing ever and it sure made him interested in seeing the new Cars movie. We had a Mommy and Gavin date to the movie which we both loved. I really enjoy spending time with my little man!

Nothing beats Salina during the 4th of July! Gavin, Kamryn, and I spent the day with my parents and Hillary and had an amazing time. I got to spend more time with Gav playing games and winning prizes while my mom kept Kamryn in from the heat. I love the 4th of July and I love the Salina celebrations. I am so proud to be an American. Gavin had to get a firework on his face and we couldn't wash it off for a few days after, but he sure loved it!

And of course, we had to play the dime toss game to win a fish. When Gavin didn't make any in the cups I figured we were done, but they were handing out goldfish to everyone. Now we have 2 goldfish which we lovingly call Nemo and Dori and we can't get enough of them. I'll pay .28 for a goldfish any day if it will allow me to see Gavin's eyes light up. He loves them and I love making him happy. It is great to be a Mom!!

Kamryn is 2 months old and I can't believe it! She weighed in at 9 lbs. 8 oz. and was 22 1/4 inches long. She has had colic but thanks to a new formula she is doing so much better and is a lot happier. We love to see her smile and interact with us. Gavin is usually the one who makes her smile the best and there is something about his voice that has her looking around to try and spot her big brother. They are so cute and we love having them in our family!

She has her hand up to signify how prim and proper she is. Quite the little lady!

This is Andrea. She was Gavin's nursery teacher and he absolutely adored her. She was the reason he loved going to nursery. He prays for her at night and he is constantly asking, "Where is my Andrea?" Well, last week we found out that she is moving to Washington state for the rest of the summer and we are all heart broken! She is so good with Gavin and will be greatly missed in nursery. It makes me feel good to know that there are good people in the nursery and it was sweet to see her make such a big fuss over Gav. Good luck Andrea, you were Gavin's first real love:)

Gav started swimming lessons this week and loves it! He went down the slide and loves to do his Spider Man Arms...and mom enjoys the 1/2 hour of basking in the nice sunshine!
It's a win-win situation!

Gav and teacher Jenny Dinkel

I couldn't resist this face. A little sweet mixed with a little mischievous, we have our hands full with this little girl!

Daddy's Big Helper

Lately Gavin has been trying to do everything Daddy does and wonders where he is and what he is doing constantly. Some days it drives me crazy when he asks, "Where is my Daddy?" and I answer him at least 5-10 times in the space of 5 minutes, but it really is cute that he loves his Dad. They are buddies and I think Carl really enjoys teaching Gav the tricks of the trade.

Gavin was a little nervous at first in the bobcat, Carl was a crazy driver and I thought Gavin would be screaming with terror. But after a few times around the yard Gavin didn't want to get out. I asked him if he wanted to come in and he said, "Sorry mom I'm already in it." Like father like son, these two are peas in a pod!

Mr. Cat in the Hat.
The Juab Fine Arts Council puts on Art in the Park every summer. This year it was centered around Dr. Suess. Gavin and I had a great time going and watching the performers as well as doing all the crafts. My mother-in-law Sherry stayed home and watched Kamryn for us which I am very grateful for. When we got to the park Gavin looked up at me and said, " Mom I like this just me and you." I was so glad to spend some time with him. He is the greatest son a mom could ask for! Thanks Sherry for tending, we really needed that time together.

I tried to arrange these pictures so they would go in order, but apparently I don't know how this blog imaging works so I'll just skip around. We finally had a decent day so we decided to use our "Pass of all Passes" at Trafalga. Gavin had a blast riding the race cars with Carl and then we decided to do the black light golfing. Gavin was terrified the entire time and kept telling us to hurry. The poor little man is a very nervous person, hopefully he outgrows that. We had lots of fun enjoying the weather and being together as a family!

Gav and Daddy on the race cars.

After a long day of work Daddy and Kamryn are tuckered out.

Meet the newest toddler underwear model. My mom bought Gavin some "big boy boxers" and he ran all over the house in them. He LOVES them but doesn't like them enough to go potty.

Carl and my Father-in-law Steve worked all day on my honey do list. They built shelves in both kids closets and shelves in my stairway. I absolutely LOVE the way they turned out! On to the next project a yard...ugh!

Gavin and Mommy black light golfing. The shark hanging behind us we lovingly named Bruce (from Finding Nemo) scared Gavin quite a bit. We had to keep telling him he wasn't going to eat him and that humans are friends not food. Despite the nerves, I think Gav had a lot of fun and Miss Kamryn slept through the whole thing. Turned out to be a good time for all!
