Kamryn is 2 months old and I can't believe it! She weighed in at 9 lbs. 8 oz. and was 22 1/4 inches long. She has had colic but thanks to a new formula she is doing so much better and is a lot happier. We love to see her smile and interact with us. Gavin is usually the one who makes her smile the best and there is something about his voice that has her looking around to try and spot her big brother. They are so cute and we love having them in our family!

She has her hand up to signify how prim and proper she is. Quite the little lady!

This is Andrea. She was Gavin's nursery teacher and he absolutely adored her. She was the reason he loved going to nursery. He prays for her at night and he is constantly asking, "Where is my Andrea?" Well, last week we found out that she is moving to Washington state for the rest of the summer and we are all heart broken! She is so good with Gavin and will be greatly missed in nursery. It makes me feel good to know that there are good people in the nursery and it was sweet to see her make such a big fuss over Gav. Good luck Andrea, you were Gavin's first real love:)

Gav started swimming lessons this week and loves it! He went down the slide and loves to do his Spider Man Arms...and mom enjoys the 1/2 hour of basking in the nice sunshine!
It's a win-win situation!

I couldn't resist this face. A little sweet mixed with a little mischievous, we have our hands full with this little girl!

Daddy's Big Helper

Lately Gavin has been trying to do everything Daddy does and wonders where he is and what he is doing constantly. Some days it drives me crazy when he asks, "Where is my Daddy?" and I answer him at least 5-10 times in the space of 5 minutes, but it really is cute that he loves his Dad. They are buddies and I think Carl really enjoys teaching Gav the tricks of the trade.

Gavin was a little nervous at first in the bobcat, Carl was a crazy driver and I thought Gavin would be screaming with terror. But after a few times around the yard Gavin didn't want to get out. I asked him if he wanted to come in and he said, "Sorry mom I'm already in it." Like father like son, these two are peas in a pod!

Mr. Cat in the Hat.
The Juab Fine Arts Council puts on Art in the Park every summer. This year it was centered around Dr. Suess. Gavin and I had a great time going and watching the performers as well as doing all the crafts. My mother-in-law Sherry stayed home and watched Kamryn for us which I am very grateful for. When we got to the park Gavin looked up at me and said, " Mom I like this just me and you." I was so glad to spend some time with him. He is the greatest son a mom could ask for! Thanks Sherry for tending, we really needed that time together.

I tried to arrange these pictures so they would go in order, but apparently I don't know how this blog imaging works so I'll just skip around. We finally had a decent day so we decided to use our "Pass of all Passes" at Trafalga. Gavin had a blast riding the race cars with Carl and then we decided to do the black light golfing. Gavin was terrified the entire time and kept telling us to hurry. The poor little man is a very nervous person, hopefully he outgrows that. We had lots of fun enjoying the weather and being together as a family!

Gav and Daddy on the race cars.

After a long day of work Daddy and Kamryn are tuckered out.

Meet the newest toddler underwear model. My mom bought Gavin some "big boy boxers" and he ran all over the house in them. He LOVES them but doesn't like them enough to go potty.

Carl and my Father-in-law Steve worked all day on my honey do list. They built shelves in both kids closets and shelves in my stairway. I absolutely LOVE the way they turned out! On to the next project a yard...ugh!

Gavin and Mommy black light golfing. The shark hanging behind us we lovingly named Bruce (from Finding Nemo) scared Gavin quite a bit. We had to keep telling him he wasn't going to eat him and that humans are friends not food. Despite the nerves, I think Gav had a lot of fun and Miss Kamryn slept through the whole thing. Turned out to be a good time for all!
